Last Friday evening brought with a second attempt at the Chaos in DC meetup in Silver Spring, Maryland. I'd driven out there straight from work because I wound up leaving the office late, and when you factor in travel time it really wasn't a good idea to to do too much driving that night. Have you ever wanted to play with a real robot arm? The University of Western Australia has one available through their website that you can use to move blocks around with. You have to register for an account and use special client software that they supply, and of course you'll have to wait in a queue for your turn to use it, but it's a lot of fun.
