One of the environment suits from the Mercury 7 mission. One of the Gemini 2 mission environment suits. No, it's not Peanut Hamper. An environment suit from the Apollo 12 mission. Inside of a replica of a Mercury space capsule. It's incredibly cramped in there. You can see my knee in the corner because my legs were pulled halfway up to my chest to fit. Closeup of one of the control panels. Very not comfortable in there, even when wearing regular clothes. Outside of the observatory. A closeup of one of the ultra-small transmitters designed by W6MRR. Closeup of the instrument package for a high altitude, long flight time amateur radio balloon. Powered by those two thin-film flexible solar panels. That's the entire instrument package. At the top-right is a used, blown out weather balloon. A radiosonde beacon found in the wild. They're cheap and may as well be disposable.
