Greene County screwed us.

Lyssa's mom brought the marriage license down with her for Lyssa's bridal shower, which was held yesterday afternoon while Hasufin and I were running around wreaking havoc staying out of trouble.

They sent is a normal Pennsylvania marriage license, not a self-uniting marriage license, which pretty much screws Lyssa and I. We don't have time to get things going in Pennsylvania due to the time delay they require.

'lex Pendragon and I are starting things in motion, Lyssa and I are coming up with plans B and C.

I'll write more about this when I don't have a dozen errands to run, probably tonight.

Sonofafuckingbitch. The assholes. DO you have documentation showing that you requested a self-uniting license?

In the meantime, I think the best route (and I am not a lawyer, etc.) would be to have the ceremony, and get the legal side done via a Justice of the Peace. Then find a way to lodge some form of formal complaint regarding Greene County.

I believe we do, yes. If we do, Lyssa has it in the notebook she’s been using to keep track of everything weedding-related.

That’s pretty much plans B, C, and D, which only differ in terms of what state they’re done in.

I’m looking into that. I’ve made a few phone calls, but it’s Sunday and everyone’s taking the day off. I can’t reach my usual lawyer in Pittsburgh right now for this reason, in particular.
